450 architectural students throughout Europe were expected for the annual event of the EASA gathering in Roubaix in France. How to organize the life of such a big community in the enclosed space of the two old wharehouses? The EASA organizators decided to hold a one-to-one scale construction game, using standard scaffolding material. The organizer team built the main collective structures such as kitchen and washrooms beforehand. Once the participants arrived each group was assigned a set of scaffolding material, and the participants themselves built and inhabited a continuously evolving village inside the warehouses.
